They say we don't really know the value of something until we lose it. I have been vain like that. This song's about "loving when we don't have"... I started this one night singing over some guitar chords, but quickly evolved into something deeper and darker. Now, synth pads and strings drive the melodic parts while vigorous bass lines complement a trip-hop drum loop. Thank you for listening!
